As a group of fellow riders, Fat Trax would like to welcome you to the sport of ATVing. We are a Twin Cities metro based club with the goal of having fun, getting out on the trails, and keeping our recreation of choice alive and well in Minnesota.
Who we are . . .
Fat Trax is a group of men, women, and children; married, single, young and young-at-heart from all over the metro area. Each of us is a member of ATVAM in order to support our recreation on a state as well as a local level. We believe that our sport is a wonderful outdoor family-friendly activity. Each of our members brings a diverse set of interests and experiences. Some of us just like to ride trails, some of us like to run through deep mud, some of us like to race, some of us use our ATV's for hard work, and some of us think three-wheelers still reign supreme. Whatever your interest in ATV's and whatever brand or kind of ATV you own - you are welcome in our club.
What we do . . .
The club meets over dinner the second Tuesday of every month to organize rides and activities, keep up to date with the happenings of ATVing in the state, and to promote the sport on a local level. Some special activities in 2001 included:
- Spider Lake trail building and maintenance
- Adopt-A-Highway (Entrance to Spider Lake)
- Annual Summer Picnic
- Fall Color Ride (Iron River, WI)
- Annual Winter Party
Where we are going . . .
We are currently a small group of approximately 20 members. Fat Trax is looking to expand our club in order to work towards bigger and better opportunities; strength in numbers.
